Mark 11:22–25 (NLT) — 22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”
Six Powerful Ways to Ask For a Miracle:
1. Ask and Imagine
- Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) — Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
- Don’t limit God to a small miracle!
2. Ask and Agree
- Matthew 18:19–20 (NLT) — 19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
- Unity - builds faith, refines motives, and increases expectation.
3. Ask in Faith
- James 1:6-7 (ESV) 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
- Anchor your heart to God’s Word, even when your head is spinning.
4. Ask and Receive
- 1 John 5:14–15 (ESV) — 14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
- Thank Him in advance. Live with a spirit of expectancy.
5. Ask and Move
- John 4:49–52 (NLT) — 49 The official pleaded, “Lord, please come now before my little boy dies.” 50 Then Jesus told him, “Go back home. Your son will live!” And the man believed what Jesus said and started home. 51 While the man was on his way, some of his servants met him with the news that his son was alive and well. 52 He asked them when the boy had begun to get better, and they replied, “Yesterday afternoon at one o’clock his fever suddenly disappeared!”
- Obedience unlocks miracles.
6. Ask and Demand
- John 15:7–8 (NLT) — “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted.”
- Boldness comes from relationship.
- You are sons and daughters—ask boldly.
