The Mindset of Eternity
Four important mentalities
1. Life is short!
2. Eternity vastly outweighs this life.
2 Corinthians 4:16–18 (ESV) — 16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
3. We tend to build our lives around the temporary rather than the eternal.
4. Every action here echoes forever.
What Matters in Eternity
John 9:4 (NLT): "We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work."

3. Did you BUILD on CHRIST?
1 Corinthians 3:11–14 (NLT) — 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. 12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. 14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward.
